Florida Septic Reviews exists because most of what's online about septic systems is either written for contractors, written to sell you something, or written for a part of the country that doesn't have our soil and water table. None of that is much help when you're standing in your yard wondering why the drainfield is wet in August.
We publish practical guides, region-specific insights for the parts of Florida where septic actually matters most, and reviews submitted by homeowners. The site is calm by design — septic issues are stressful enough without alarmist copy on top of them.
Our relationship with the Florida Septic Directory
We're the consumer companion to floridasepticdirectory.com, an independent directory of vetted Florida septic professionals. When you're ready to hire someone, that's where to look. We disclose this relationship on every page because it's the honest thing to do.
How we make money
We don't, yet — and that's intentional. If we ever introduce sponsored professional spotlights or featured listings, they'll be clearly labeled, they won't influence editorial content, and we'll tell you about it openly. The point of this site is to be useful first.
Editorial principles

- We don't catastrophize. Most septic problems are solvable.
- We disclose what we don't know, and link to authoritative sources (county health departments, university extension) when we do.
- Reviews are submitted by readers and lightly edited for clarity, never for sentiment.
